Les and Lou Ann Preston

Les Preston was one of the few musicians I played with that made me nervous. He was so good and even though never said or expressed, his “expectation for excellence” drove me to be better. He challenged me with every song and every chord. I wanted to be better when I was with him. Lou Ann was the spark plug in their duo and so much fun to be with. I am sad to say they are now gone from this world, but my memories stay strong. Thankfully, someone recorded us playing together. I do miss them.
