Les and Lou Ann Preston

Les Preston was one of the few musicians I played with that made me nervous. He was so good and even though never said or expressed, his “expectation for excellence” that feeling I had inspired me to be better. He challenged me with every song and every chord. I wanted to be better when I was with him. Lou Ann was the spark plug in their duo and so much fun to be with. I am sad to say they are both now gone from this world, but my memories stay strong. Thankfully, someone recorded us playing together. I do miss them.
