CD: Black Bear on the Mountain

Fred Coon is a traditional Appalachian banjo player and storyteller and entertains audiences around the world. He learned many songs from his father and through his extensive Appalachian field recordings.  It’s more about the feelings, the friendships, and the cherished memories gained over a lifetime. It’s more than archiving a song or a tune’s history. Bill Burke and I did a CD and below are snippets from that production, We hope you enjoy our renditions of these short takes from some timeless tunes.
