She is also a leadership consultant specializing in developing an organization’s highly customized, ten-point leadership philosophy to create a culture of leadership and motivated staff. Valerie has over thirty years experience in doing and teaching the full continuum of leadership development from junior employee to senior executive. She has personally directed numerous complex projects and programs, led thousands of personnel, and managed delicate political and communication among hundreds of stakeholders.

Valerie is a retired USMC lieutenant colonel, PMP and PgMP with the Project Management Institute, and member of the John Maxwell Team. She is currently serving as the Director of Private-Public Partnerships at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona.
